Activated Charcoal
Activated charcoal (also known as activated carbon) is obtained by the carbonation of organic materials of plant origin. The organic material is carbonized at high temperature (above 600°C), which provides a high degree of porosity. During fibre production, the activated carbon is homogeneously incorporated into the polymer.
Odour Control
Bedding filled with Dacron® Activated Charcoal fibrefill controls unwanted odours to help ensure a fresh, clean smell of the products.
Moisture Management
Thanks to the activated carbon, this filling fibre absorbs and wicks away excess humidity. The special hollow structure of the fibre provides improved air circulation to prevent humidity build-up and helps to create a pleasant micro-climate.
Durable and Washable
The filling fibre incorporates activated charcoal particles and is made from a special engineered hollow fibre with air content to create a long-lasting warmth and volume. Machine washable and dryable for a lasting softness and loft.
Certificate
The fibre is certified with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100.

As a new member of the Comforel® family ADVANSA presents Comforel® Cool Night for ergonomic pillows. A combination of ball-fibre with memory foam chips providing ergonomic comfort. The fibre is certified with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
Air Circulation
Comforel® Cool Night offers breathable sleeping comfort with optimal air circulation while the special hydrophilic surface treatment of the fibre optimises moisture transport.
Heat Dissipation
The Air Flow Crimp technology of the ball-fibre ensures the blend offers a superior heat dissipation. Tests* have been carried out by the FIA Institute – Forschungsgesellschaft für Industrieanthropologie GmbH).
Back Friendly
Carefully engineered, Comforel® Cool Night filling is for ergonomic pillows specifically designed to support effectively your head and neck and relief muscle tension. The pillow is recommended by AGR (Campaign for Healthier Backs) an association supported by doctors and therapists which was founded in 1995.
Test carried out by FIA
In tests* carried out by the Forschungsgesellschaft für Industrieanthropologie (Kiel 2022), the Comforel® Cool Night pillow demonstrated an improved moisture management, reduced pressure point distribution and a significantly better heat dissipation. The Comforel® Cool Night pillow has been approved by fia that it meets all the ergonomic criteria necessary for a restful sleep.

In Europe, 5.8 million tonnes of textiles are discarded every year, corresponding to 11.3 kg per person. Worldwide, one truckload of textiles ends up in landfill or is incinerated every second. ADVANSA is committed to sustainability by offering a new high-tech raw material fibre made with polyester waste from the textile industry.

Textile waste scraps are mechanically broken down and then transformed into new raw material for the creation of high-quality fibres that are blended with our recycled PET bottle flakes. From this sustainable innovation, we create fibrefill with premium comfort for duvets, pillows and mattress toppers. Dacron® Re-Comfort is the first fibrefill made from a blend with textile waste by ADVANSA.
